Even after Animal Crossing New Horizons sells over 40 million copies, it remains in the top eShop charts, proving incredibly popular amongst Nintendo fans, even in 2023. Which is an impressive feat as it approaches its 3rd year anniversary.

Animal Crossing New Horizons saw regular content updates during it’s launch year, bringing back familiar mechanics and events from previous games.

Following the success of each new update, Nintendo released version 2.0 only 18 months into the games life. This also released alongside the Happy Home Paradise Expansion Pass, which doubled the amount of content in the game.

Between patch updates, the 2.0 update and the Expansion Pass, Animal Crossing New Horizons has seen 1000’s of new furniture sets, all new mechanics and features, collectibles and clothing items!

However, despite several content updates, it’s seems there are some iconic Furniture Series still missing from the latest instalment!

Even after 3 years of updates, there are 17 Furniture Series in total, that never made it to Animal Crossing New Horizons. These are primarily Furniture Series that existed in previous games.

Below, you can find screenshots of all 17 Furniture Series that never returned:

From left-to-right and top-to-bottom, the Furniture Series are as follows:

  • Astro Series
  • Balloon Series
  • Blue Series
  • Card Series
  • Gorgeous Series
  • Gracie Series
  • Green Series
  • Modern Series
  • Modern-Wood Series
  • Polka-Dot Series
  • Princess Series
  • Regal Series
  • Robo Series
  • Rococo Series
  • Snowman Series
  • Stripe Series
  • Sweets Series

With updates slowing down for Animal Crossing New Horizon, it’s likely these missing Furniture Series will never make their way to game.

However there’s always the hope that one day Nintendo will decide to expand the Animal Crossing New Horizons library by offering even more content… So, maybe they’re saving these nostalgic Furniture Series until then…

Do you remember any of these classic Animal Crossing furniture series? And would you like to see them return to Animal Crossing New Horizons in the future? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
