Nintendo announced today that the iconic Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards is the next N64 game to become part of Nintendo Switch Online.
Originally launched on the N64 in March 2000, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards will be available to subscribers of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass membership on May 20th 2022.
This will be available alongside games including Super Mario 64, F-Zero and Paper Mario, amongst an ever growing library of games including Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards is a 2.5D side scrolling adventure game that sees Kirby taking on Dark Matter, swallowing enemies, and combining abilities to conquer dreamy worlds!
As Players, you can take Kirby across the skies, through the oceans and battle your way through six different action-packed planets.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land was is one of the games announced when Nintendo Reveals Top 25 Nintendo Switch Games. So it’s no surprise Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards is a welcomed addition to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass membership.

To access Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, you must be an Individual or Family Member of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass and download the Nintendo 64 Application from the Nintendo eShop.
As a member you’ll also access the Sega Mega Drive Library of games and several Expansion Packs for existing Nintendo Switch titles including Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
