Seeing huge franchises crossover in video game DLC is more popular than ever before.
Recent news reveals that Fall Guys Battle Royale comes to Nintendo Switch for Free with new collaborations with IP’s such as Pusheen.
Another impressive crossover has just been announced by Mojang, the developers of Minecraft who have revealed none other than an Angry Birds crossover, that will soon make its way into the game as DLC.
Just as you’d expect, the Angry Birds Adventure DLC can be purchased from the Minecraft Market Place, and will cost you 1,340 Minecoins, which is approximately $10.
This Angry Add-on will allow players to take part in the Angry Birds Adventure as one of six Angry Bird characters.
What’s not surprising is the Bad Piggies are up to their old tricks again, so the goal is to find stolen eggs, unlock the flock (REDs Friends) and of course play with your friends as you tackle a 3D Minecraft version of the Angry Birds world.
Players can catapult themselves through various missions and ultimately defeat the king.
However, fans of the original smartphone version will be pleased to know the Angry Birds DLC, also features a classic mode too.
Seeing Rovio’s Angry Birds evolve from Smartphone’s to Minecraft is something special!
Here’s what Rovio has to say about this Angry Add-on:
“Developed by Oreville Studios, the DLC features two birdtastic game modes: Classic Mode lets players fling birds from a giant slingshot to take down teetering piggy towers, just like in the original Angry Birds games – only now in the beloved blocky style of Minecraft. Mission Mode, presents the player with four unique environments to explore, challenging players to rescue the members of the Angry Birds flock including Chuck, Bomb, Stella, and more. Once unlocked, the birds are available as playable characters with their own special abilities to be used against the flock’s arch nemeses, the green piggies. Players can also find golden eggs which contain adorable Hatchling friends.”
Will you be buying the Angry Birds DLC, or do you prefer classic Minecraft?
