With 2022 being Kirby’s 30th Anniversary Nintendo are celebrating this huge milestone and continuing to expand their Kirby library on Nintendo Switch.

Just last month Nintendo Switch Online members saw the return of the classic Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, which arrived only weeks after Kirby and the Forgotten Land released on Nintendo Switch earlier this year.

In the next step in celebrating Kirby’s 30th Anniversary, Nintendo have now introduced 3 “Special” versions of past Kirby titles, including Kirby Super Star, Kirby’s Dream Land 3 and Kirby’s Dream Course.

Although all three of these Kirby titles where already available through the Nintendo Switch Online service, these latest editions, dubbed “SP”, have been updated to include all Secret Modes that can be accessed from the start of the games.

This brings even more gameplay elements and modes for Kirby fans to enjoy, and is the latest Library update, following last months update that saw 3 classic titles return to the Nintendo Switch Online NES and SNES libraries.

Have you played these Kirby games before, and will you be playing through the Secret Mode? Share your thoughts in the comments.
